Hello and welcome to reception.
Â
This year we have a fantastic staff team waiting to meet your wonderful children. Mrs Nicki Burton and Mrs Kerry Gane will be your class teacher (Mrs Burton will be in class Monday to Thursday and Mrs Gane will be in class Thursday and Friday.) Working with us we have the wonderful Sarah Curtis, Debby Howey and Debbie Paterson.) Between us all we have masses of experience of teaching and working within Early Years. We're so excited to get started.Â
Before we do, here's a little background ...
Mrs Burton is the deputy head and has a real passion for EYFS. She loves singing, dancing and anything related to musical theatre so watch this space for future performances!
Mrs Gane loves the outdoors and is our resident Queen Beekeeper! She will be inspiring and leading our outdoor development within the EYFS space so make sure those wellies are in school!Â
Sarah is our forest school lead and takes all children across school into the forest once per week. Our forest school session will take place each Monday PM - further details will be shared when the children are in school.
Mrs Paterson works to support all children across school and we're so lucky to have her spending a large part of this time in reception. She loves developing children's ideas into the most amazing experiences.
Mrs Howey will spend some time in reception to develop children's early language and literacy development. She has a real love of reading and she can't wait to get going!
