PTA Latest News February 2019

Please see email below from Amanda Morgan (Reception parent):
Dear all,
Following a long and successful time as Chair of the PTA, Natasha Holland has taken the difficult decision to step down.  As a result, I have agreed to step in as Interim Chair, until at least the end of the Summer Term (subject to review in September).  I'm sure you will join me in saying a massive thank you to Natasha who has put in many hours of hard work, passion and dedication during her time as Chair, raising funds for the school that all our children benefit from.
As I'm sure you are aware, all families of children at Broomhaugh C of E First School are members of our PTA, and with this in mind I would like to thank everyone who donated cakes for the sale at the end of term.  We are thrilled to announce we raised £105.80 which really speaks to the generosity of our school community.  Going forward, please be assured that the PTA will continue to run regular fundraising and social events for the whole school community.  It is hoped that with your ongoing support, our fundraising efforts will continue to enhance the education and experience of all the children at Broomhaugh .
In addition, there is a small core group of parents who have taken on extra responsibilities in order to ensure that the PTA continues to run effectively, and we are always looking for volunteers to share the load!  It does not need to be a big commitment, but any offers of help for a particular event, donations of raffle prizes, or simply attending a PTA meeting if you are able, would be fantastic and gratefully received!  We plan to hold regular meetings and will circulate dates and venues when confirmed.
