Autumn 2 learning gallery

We have been thinking about the Christian Value of Thankfulness and tied it into our learning about remembrance. We were shown different ways of making poppies and chose our favourite to make some of our own.
We've started our Commando Joes journey with a fab challenge. We had to get to the top of the hill with our legs tied together. We all gave it a go but did we all make  it to the top????
We watched and then listened to Mrs Burton's instructions to make our own diya lamps as part of our diwali celebrations - we did pretty well don't you think?
We made our own salt dough to make our very diya lamps.
Check out our road safety hats! We spent a long time investigating the different signs and finding out why some signs are circles and some are triangles. We used this knowledge to make our own!
We loved inviting our grown ups to school to make Christmas decorations with us! It kicked off our festivities!
We absolutely loved our very first school trip to the Queen's Hall in Hexham to watch a festive performance of 'Hey Diddle Diddle!'
Reception were sent a message from one of Santa's elves. He has sent us a tree and we needed to follow the clues to find it! We then spent time decorating and recreating trees of our own using a range of sticks.
Stir up day!
