Action Plan

Dear parents and carers,

We will continue to follow government advice regarding the Coronavirus/Covid-19.

We have created a 4-stage action plan which can be viewed below. Please be assured that we are taking the situation very seriously and that the welfare of our children, staff and their families is our top priority.

As you will see from our prepared page, we have collated information and support resources for you to access with your children for any families who need to self-isolate or in the event of school closure. As the situation evolves, new folders will be available on this page.

How you can help:

While we do not want to cause more concern or anxiety than that which is already being felt by the news being reported relating to COVID 19, we do require your help to minimise infections and the spread of germs.

Advice is that children and staff should not be in school if they are unwell. The advice is for the children to remain at home for 14 days. While this may seem extreme for a common cold or cough it is vital we take advice and act on the recommendations.

You can help us by:

  • monitoring your child's temperature
  • keeping your children off school if they are generally not feeling well
  • keeping your child off school if they have a fever or a persistent cough
If we have any concerns about children we will call to ask you to collect them from school.
We understand how difficult this situation will be with child care and other commitments and we hope to have your support and understanding in helping us enforce the guidelines and minimise risks.
