Broomhaugh is involved in a three year project organised by the British Council. This links our school up with three schools in Sierra Leone and in Ethiopia. It also links us to 2 other schools nearby- Whitley Chapel First and Hexham Middle.

The children can exchange photos, information and pictures to learn about each others cultures and lives.

Teachers from the African countries visited here in November 2008 and over the next two years we will visit their countries.
